NOVA IMS and the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUC-Campinas) have joined forces to develop new models of collaboration and pedagogical innovation, with benefits for students and teachers, but also for the Campinas community in NOVA IMS' areas of excellence.

Miguel de Castro Neto, Dean of NOVA IMS, and Guilherme Victorino, Deputy Dean, were recently on the campus of PUC-Campinas, in the state of São Paulo, for a meeting that allowed them to identify objectives for collaboration between the two institutions. These include promoting the sustainable development of Campinas through Information Management, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence; establishing an Analytics laboratory in partnership, which will offer innovative solutions and services based on the unique skills of both institutions; and strengthening the quality of teaching and learning, particularly through academic exchanges between PUC-Campinas and NOVA IMS.

To achieve these objectives, a memorandum of understanding was signed, which brings concrete opportunities for cooperation in various areas: sustainable urban development; offering postgraduate courses and academic exchanges; and collaboration in the design of pedagogical innovation models.

During this visit, NOVA IMS officials had the opportunity to meet with the Rectoral team, the Secretary of Economic Development of Campinas, the coordinator of the International Hub for Sustainable Development of Campinas and representatives of partner companies of MESCLA - the entrepreneurship and innovation hub.

By building new models of international cooperation, NOVA IMS is renewing its commitment to contributing to a more sustainable and innovative future.
